NadisPlus is our powerful software platform for the rapid, secure, and traceable performance of NAT (nucleic acid amplification) tests for transfusion-relevant pathogens such as HIV or hepatitis C.

Based on Nadis by Grawunder Software Engineering, which has proven itself over many years, we have systematically enhanced NadisPlus for 2026: with modern architecture, future-proof technologies, and a clear focus on stability, maintainability, and integration.

Safety and Efficiency

From sample receipt to pool formation—including mini-pools with up to 96 donations—to automated evaluation, NadisPlus accompanies the entire NAT analysis process in a consistent, transparent, and completely digital manner. Blood banks and diagnostic laboratories thus receive a robust, field-tested system that structures workflows, minimizes manual intervention, and reliably reduces potential sources of error.

Integrated, rule-based logic for resolving reactive pools enables the precise identification of positive donations. NadisPlus automatically takes antibody status into account and ensures consistent, traceable decision-making. The platform thus supports laboratory teams in transmitting PCR results per sample to the respective HOST system quickly, reproducibly, and in high quality—and sustainably increases the efficiency and process reliability of NAT testing.

Diverse Connections and Integrations

NadisPlus is the powerful center of your NAT testing. To ensure that all processes mesh seamlessly, the platform already features numerous proven integrations and interfaces.

For the automated creation of primary and secondary pools, NadisPlus is connected to Hamilton's MICROLAB STARlet liquid handling systems. Test results can be transferred directly from GFE's PoET and Roche's cobas 6800 and cobas 8800 systems.

The results are transferred to the LIMS EdgeBlood fully automatically, avoiding media breaks and shortening throughput times. An LDAP connection is also available for centralized and convenient user and rights management.
