NadisPlus is our powerful software platform for the rapid, secure, and traceable performance of NAT (nucleic acid amplification) tests for transfusion-relevant pathogens such as HIV or hepatitis C.

Based on Nadis by Grawunder Software Engineering, which has proven itself over many years, we have systematically enhanced NadisPlus for 2026: with modern architecture, future-proof technologies, and a clear focus on stability, maintainability, and integration.

Safety and Efficiency

From sample receipt through pooling—including mini-pools of up to 96 donations—to automated result reporting, NadisPlus supports the entire NAT analysis process in a seamless, transparent, and fully digital manner. Blood banks and diagnostic laboratories thus gain a robust, field-proven system that streamlines workflows, minimizes manual intervention, and reliably reduces potential sources of error.

NadisPlus supports the workflow for resolving reactive pools and enables the precise identification of positive donations. In doing so, NadisPlus automatically takes into account the antibody status of individual samples. The platform thus helps laboratory teams transmit PCR results for each sample to the respective HOST system quickly, reproducibly, and with high quality—and sustainably increases the efficiency and process reliability of NAT testing.

Wide Range of Connections and Integrations

NadisPlus is the powerful hub of your NAT testing. To ensure that all processes work together seamlessly, the platform already features numerous proven integrations and interfaces.

For the automated creation of primary and follow-up pools, NadisPlus is connected to Hamilton’s MICROLAB STARlet liquid-handling systems. Test results can be imported directly from GFE’s PoET as well as from Roche’s cobas 6800 and cobas 8800 systems.
Results are transferred to the EdgeBlood LIMS fully automatically, thereby avoiding media breaks and reducing turnaround times. An LDAP connection is also available for centralized and convenient user and permissions management.
